Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of winners in the National Finals of the 2nd National College Students’ Career Planning Competition. Yu Jianhao, student of Grade 2022 majoring in Artificial Intelligence from the School of Artificial Intelligence, won the bronze medal in the growth track (Higher Education Group) in the National Finals, achieving a new breakthrough for the university in this competition.
The National College Students’ Career Planning Competition is a “vane” for career education in colleges and universities, and also a stage for young students to communicate with the times. Hosted jointly by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Hunan Province, this year’s competition consists of two main tracks: the student growth track and the employment track, attracting 15.07 million students from 2,763 colleges and universities across the country to compete on the same stage.

Yu Jianhao gave a keynote speech titled Pursuing Dreams with Code, Serving the Country through Technology - Striving to Be an AI Algorithm Engineer. He introduced how he leveraged his professional advantages in artificial intelligence to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship activities, supported public welfare assistance and rural revitalization, and aspired to contribute to the country through science and technology. His speech fully demonstrated the outstanding career planning literacy and vigorous growth dynamism of JISU students.
