On the morning of September 11, the military training parade and achievement report meeting for the 2025 freshmen of JISU was held at the stadium. President Qin He and other university leaders, as well as leading officers of the training unit,military training instructors, deans of various colleges, heads of all departments, and other relevant personnel, attended the meeting.
The ceremony began with a grand and solemn national flag-raising ceremony. President Qin He reviewed the 2025 trainees at the military parade. They stood tall with their heads held high and chanted slogans in loud and clear voices, paying their highest respects to President Qin He.
President Qin He presented a commemorative banner to the leadership of College of Tactics and Logistics, Aviation University of Air Force.
During the march-past, 23 formations from various colleges marched in neat steps and passed the reviewing stand for inspection. The students, steadfast and high-spirited, demonstrated the achievements of their two weeks of military training with their high morale and inspiring slogans.

During the performance, the freshmen performed the bayonet drill and large-group gymnastics performance, while the training instructors presented an “assault operation-tactical coordination demonstration.” In the stadium, a powerful momentum spread with every thrust of the bayonets; in the stands, surging passion burst forth with thunderous applause. The firm and determined movements of the freshmen were not only a vivid display of youthful passion but also conveyed the heartfelt patriotism of JISU students. The splendid performance won warm applause from the audience and became the most inspiring memory as the military training came to a close.
The conference read out the notification of military training awards. During the military training, 15 “Marker Formations” including the Second Company of the School of Artificial Intelligence, 454 “Military Training Models” including Li Jianwen, 12 “Excellent Instructors” including Liu Zuquan, and 40 “Excellent Drill Instructors” including Li He were commended for their outstanding performance. The bayonet drill performance, tactical performance, large-scale group gymnastics performance, and the university students’ reserve company were awarded the “Special Contribution Award.”
Finally, Miao Jing, the deputy secretary of the university party committee, delivered a concluding speech on the military training. She fully affirmed the achievements of this military training and encouraged the students to continue taking soldiers as role models, strictly discipline themselves, and always keep in mind the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping for young people: “to be patriotic, aspirational, truth-seeking, and pragmatic.” She urged them to shoulder the responsibility and mission of “undertaking the great task of national rejuvenation” entrusted by the times, strive to practice the academic spirit of “self-reliance, self-discipline, truth-seeking and innovation,” achieve all-round development in “knowledge, ability, and personality,” and grow into “outstanding college students in the new era who serve the country, win honor for JISU, and take responsibility for their own life.”
Military training, as the “first lesson of the new semester” for students, is designed as a trial of students’ strong will and fine conduct. The students generally stated that military training had helped them gain a deep understanding of the responsibilities and missions of the youth generation. Moving forward, they will take military training as a starting point to delve into academic pursuits and enhance their capabilities, integrating their personal growth into the overall national development. They will always maintain high-spirited morale and an enterprising spirit, accumulating strength through surpassing themselves and making continuous progress. Ultimately, on the journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, they will hand over a youth answer sheet belonging to contemporary young people and shine their unique youth brilliance.
